CNPV (Dongying, China) announced that ICIM/Euro Test Lab of Italy awarded the International Electro Technical Commission (IEC) certification to the company's premium photovoltaic module series with a power range of 190-200 Wp, made with high-efficiency 125 Ã— 125 mm monocrystalline cells. CNPV has shipped 8 MWp of these premium modules for rooftop applications to customers in Germany, France, Belgium and the Czech Republic.

The 72-cell premium module series has large-area, high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells, antireflection coated glass, and high-conductivity interconnected materials. The larger diameter (165 mm) of the cells compared to the standard (150 mm) with their high conversion efficiencies (17.5%) outperforms the industry average by 8%, which translates into >15.25% module efficiency. The antireflection coated glass ensures 93% transmittance at STC level and provides an additional 3% performance at field-level installations. The use of soft, ductile and high-conductivity interconnected ribbons ensures minimal resistive power losses both at standard testing and field levels.

The modules in the series have received IEC 5400Pa certification verifying their capability to withstand high wind pressure and heavy snow load.
